Join us on for a discussion about recent experiences with human resources and staffing in research administration and higher education, with a focus on remote work. Panelists will bring different institutional perspectives, from central offices to departments and from public to private institutions. Following lunch, the panel will convene for the discussion then open to a Q&A session, with attendees posing questions both in advance and in real time. Advance registration is required.

NSPM-33
Description:
NSPM-33 (National Security Presidential Memo – 33) requires all federal research funding agencies to strengthen and standardize disclosure requirements for federally funded awards. NSPM-33 also mandates the establishment of research security programs at research institutions receiving federal funds. NSPM-33 will also require oversight and enforcement activity in the form of administrative actions as well as civil or criminal penalties. This session will focus on the NSPM-33 implementation guidance issued by OSTP. Presenters will provide a high-level overview of the requirements, share what steps some institutions have taken and highlight resources available to the community to assist with their own implementation.
