Title: NCURA Region 1 PDC Session: Networking For People That Aren't Into Networking

Description: Networking is critical to career development, but can also feel overwhelming or frankly like a chore. This will be a highly interactive panel with opportunities for participants to engage with the panelists and each other as we talk about networking in different modalities and some innovative and fun ways our panelists have found to make networking work for them.
This is part of the Professional Development Mentorship Series on building your own board. At the end of the event, we will discuss how to apply what we have discussed in the context of building your own board.

National meeting travel awards & leadership nominations sought
Applications are being accepted for national meeting travel awards
Eligibility for Grant:
The region strongly encourages applications from individuals who have been in the field less than two years.
NCURA membership is required to receive an award. Applicants must be part of Region 1.
Applicants must have been working in research administration for a minimum of six months at the time of application.
Applicants must not have received a travel award within the past three years.
A letter of support from your supervisor is required.
The application consists of three short-answer questions as well as some basic biographical information.

A brief resume highlighting your research administration experience
A summary of your NCURA history and qualifications
