Travel Grant Nominations Requested for the NCURA Region 1 Spring Meeting

Research Administration Conference: May 3-6th

Conference Site: Water’s Edge Resort and Spa, Westbrook, CT

Amount: $1,200 each

Travel awards are intended to support the career growth of individuals new to the field of research administration and/or those whose institutions would not be able to support their participation without the travel award.  

Applications for the Region 1 Spring Meeting Travel Awards open on Tuesday, February 24th and close by 5 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026

Application details:

·       This is a self-nominating award.

·       The region strongly encourages applications from individuals who have been in the field less than 2 years.

·       NCURA membership is required to receive an award.

·       At the time of application, applicants must have been working in research administration for a minimum of 6 months.

·       A letter of support from your supervisor is required.

The application consists of some basic biographical information, as well providing 3 short (1-2 paragraph) written responses on how receipt of a travel award will benefit your professional development and Region 1.

The application form should take 10-20 minutes to complete.
