NCURA Region I: Call for 2027 Spring Meeting Session Proposals
NCURA Region I is seeking session proposals for the Region I Meeting that will take place May 2-5, 2027 at the Seacrest Beach Resort in Falmouth, MA.
We’re looking for engaging, practical sessions that bring our 2027 theme, “What We Know & What We Share – Navigating Together,” to life. We want sessions that share knowledge, experiences, innovative approaches, and practical tools that help research administrators navigate the challenges and opportunities facing our profession. We’re particularly interested in sessions that explore emerging issues, lessons learned, and strategies for navigating change. While AI will not be a standalone track, we welcome proposals that dive deeper into the use cases and evolving role of AI within specific areas of the research administration profession, including pre-award, post-award, compliance, and day-to-day operations. Whether a traditional presentation or interactive discussion, we encourage sessions that create opportunities to learn from one another and leave attendees with practical takeaways.
