Travel Grant Nominations Requested for NCURA Region I FRA/PRA Meeting 

Workshop Day: March 21, 2026

Financial Research Administration Conference: March 19-20, 2026 

Pre-Award Research Administration Conference: March 22-23, 2026

Conference Site: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Amount: $1,500 each

Travel awards are intended to support the career growth of individuals new to the field of research administration and/or those whose institutions would not be able to support their participation without the travel award.

by 5 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 

1. Application details: 

1. The region strongly encourages applications from individuals who have been in the field less than 2 years. 

1. NCURA membership is required to receive an award. 

1. Applicants must have been working in research administration for a minimum of 6 months at the time of application. 

1. A letter of support from applicant’s supervisor is required. 

1. The application consists of 3 short answer questions as well as some basic biographical information. 

1. The application form should take about 10 minutes to complete.
